Media Literacy at Seeley-Swan High School

In April, Seeley-Swan High School students will read Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize winning novel To Kill a Mockingbird. To put one of the book’s main themes — empathy for others — into practice, students will work with the Montana Media Lab to interview and photograph people they don’t know in their community. Current and former UM School of Journalism students will help teach Seeley-Swan students the audio and photo storytelling skills they need to complete their project.
